Oh, and I'm the familiar underground cavern of the Glasgow Arches venue, prepping to deliver the very serious and totally genuine performance appeal for two New Works New Worlds audiences.
Friday night's performance is sold out but there are still some tickets for Saturday at 9.10pm so it would be lovely to see you there.

Was performing at Brighton's Coachwerks venue this weekend as part of their experimental performance festival. fantastic crowd and lovely hand crafted venue - check out www.coachwerks.org.uk for more info and to join their mailing list

Yesterday I decided to make friends with as many Laura Quinn's as possible...
Got a bit of a shock as the second entry under Laura Quinn on facebook is a girl with a heart shaped jaw and red hair...on closer inspection, I don't think it's her BUT wow! Freaky coincidence!
So far, one Laura has replied offering help but not accepting my friend request (very wise, I think!)

Things have been moving on in the search for Laura...
Firstly, I have made contact with an old schoolfriend who also remembers Laura, she is living in Glasgow so we will arrange a meeting and hopefully some clues and old stories will emerge
ALSO, the first of a series of performance appeals has been scheduled and I will be making an official plea at the New Work New Worlds festival which is held at the Arches in July...

Did some real time searching this weekend, but still no joy.
Keen to make contact with anyone who was living in Dunfermline between the years 1991-1997, especially if they were student of Queen Anne High school or a member of the Abbey Brownie pack under Brownie leader Mrs Johnstone.
The search continues...

In the run up to a New Year, people often make resolutions to better their life...as a practicing artist I make resolutions to make new work.
I often think of my encounters with Laura Quinn and wonder what happened to her. So now in 2009 I am making a concerted effort to track the mystery and begin to look for her.
For the record, I'm actually not sure if I want to find he...
