Looking for Laura Quinn

In the run up to a New Year, people often make resolutions to better their life...as a practicing artist I make resolutions to make new work.

I often think of my encounters with Laura Quinn and wonder what happened to her. So now in 2009 I am making a concerted effort to track the mystery and begin to look for her.

For the record, I'm actually not sure if I want to find her. I really love the story I tell, I love the mystery and the not knowing...does she really exist, are we really that similar at all? Finding her might be the death knell to the creativity of this project.

However, by starting in some minor way to look for her, I take the first steps of a journey to discovering something (anything) new and the not knowing what will happen is as exciting as not knowing what happened with her.
